A short explanation of websites in our glossary
A website is the complete presence of a company or individual on the internet, reachable at an individual web address. It is usually accessed via the operator's home page.
A website is normally created with HTML. These days it generally consists of numerous HTML files.
The name derives from the English words web (from World Wide Web) and site ("place", "location", "spot").
