A short explanation of web design in our glossary
Web design refers to the design of a website, where many other components come into play besides the graphic design. The user experience, the user interface, search engine optimisation and content creation are all parts of web design — in other words, the creative part. At the start, a web designer develops a mock-up, which shows what the future website will look like and whether the idea can be implemented well. At the customer's request, adjustments can also be made at this stage.
