Have an AI agent built for your company in Germany

twigbit builds, integrates and maintains AI agents for companies across Germany. We work from one office, in Berlin, mostly remotely and with on-site sessions where they speed up the sprint or the rollout. Contracts under German law, processing agreements under the GDPR, hosting in the EU, documentation and reviews in German or English.

How working together across Germany runs

Most of our clients are not in Berlin. The discovery sprint runs in a week with three fixed sessions: kickoff with the department and IT, a working session on the role and the access it needs, and the closing presentation with the go/no-go recommendation. Between sessions we work in a shared channel where questions get answered the same day. Build and operation follow the same pattern: one weekly session, one channel, one repository that belongs to you.

We come on site where it earns the trip. A kickoff at the client's office usually saves a week of back and forth, because the people who do the work today show it on their own screen. A rollout to the team lands better in person. Everything else, the build, the evals, the monitoring, is work on code and needs no travel.

What is in the contract for German companies

The contract is signed under German law with twigbit technologies GmbH. On top come a processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR, the list of sub-processors in use with their regions, and the split of duties under the EU AI Act: you are the deployer, meaning identity, permissions, data and approvals stay with you. We answer for code, evals, model migrations and regressions, like any software vendor under a maintenance contract. Documentation, reviews and eval reports come in German or English, whichever your team works in.

For hosting, the application runs on your infrastructure or in an EU region of your cloud provider. For the models there are providers with an EU region and a processing agreement, European providers, and models on your own infrastructure. The choice is made during the sprint and written into the documentation afterwards.

References from Germany

For Projektron in Berlin we built a support-triage agent that classifies 71% of incoming tickets automatically and returned 3.9× its cost in the first year, plus an AI assistant inside the product Projektron BCS. For Thermondo in Berlin we rebuilt tracking server-side and cut tracking loss by 80%. For Elevion Green we rebuilt the website so that marketing has been rolling out landing pages without tickets ever since. Other clients include Viessmann and A2Mac1. The case studies, with numbers and contacts, are under work.

What we do not have

A second office. We are a team of senior engineers in Berlin, and that is staying. If you need a branch in your own city, we are the wrong firm. If you need an agent that runs with an approval loop in four to eight weeks and is maintained afterwards, we are the right one. Everything on the approach, the prices, operations and maintenance is on the main page, have a custom AI agent built.

FAQ

What companies in Germany ask

Yes, that is the normal case. Sprint, build and operation run remotely, with fixed sessions and a shared channel in Slack or Teams. We plan on-site sessions where they speed something up: the sprint kickoff, the workshop with the department, the rollout to the team. Travel costs are in the proposal, not in the final invoice.
